Built | 2005 | Huesca | The design focus on reforming an apartment located in the last floor high housing building. Located in the small city of Huesca, near the Pyrenees, the penthouse had views towards the mountains, on the eastern side, and towards the desert on the western side. Nevertheless, these landscapes had remained always separated from one and other inside the house.
The refurbishment consisted on liberating the center of the house and to propose a continuous community space, which also focuses on an easy way of life, more relaxed and turned to the outside terraces.
It allowed to simultaneously looking towards east and west. Throughout the day, the sun breaks through the house and caresses the stone pavement, first from the mountains to the desert, and then from the desert to the mountains.
